Great Britain's Swimming Triumph: A Third-Place Finish at the European Short Course Championships
The British swimming team made a remarkable showing at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Lublin, Poland, securing a well-deserved third-place finish. With a talented squad of 17 swimmers, the team amassed a total of 11 medals over the course of six days of intense competition.
Among the standout performers were Jack McMillan, Duncan Scott, and Lauren Cox, who claimed gold medals in their respective events. McMillan dominated the men's 400m freestyle, while Scott and McMillan finished first and second in the men's 200m freestyle, respectively. Cox's triumph in the women's 100m backstroke was a highlight, as she led Britain to three golds, matching the total of the tournament's top-performing nations, Italy and the Netherlands.

Oliver Morgan and Matthew Richards also contributed to the team's medal tally with their respective bronze medals in the men's 100m backstroke and 100m freestyle events.
