The iconic Haunted Mansion at Disneyland has officially reopened to guests in its original form following the removal of its holiday-themed overlay.
After a temporary closure aimed at taking down the popular Nightmare Before Christmas transformation known as Haunted Mansion Holiday, the ride is back and ready for visitors to enjoy its classic experience once again.
As we mentioned in our previous update last December, the Disneyland Resort’s calendar hinted that this beloved holiday overlay would be completely dismantled, with the attraction reverting to its timeless state by January 23.
We can now confirm, following a recent trip to Disneyland, that the Haunted Mansion has indeed reopened without any significant alterations from the last time it operated in its regular format. Last year, Disney had also completed a major refurbishment of the attraction, enhancing various visual effects and making ride alterations, including the introduction of a new bride character that replaced Constance Hatchaway.
For those eager to relive the charm of the classic Haunted Mansion, we invite you to check out our full point-of-view ride-through video showcasing the current experience at Disneyland.
